Research interests:

My main area of expertise is in infectious diseases, global health, pharmacoepidemiology, paediatric infectious diseases, hospital infection control, health care associated infections and diseases related to women and child health. Especial focus is on developing and implementing antibiotic prescribing guidelines and antibiotic stewardship programme. I am also PI of “Antibiotic Stewardship Network in India”(absn.in) a bottom up strategy to prevent spread of resistance.
