plus Speciality

We are dedicated to understanding the molecular mechanisms that promote the metastasis/spread of prostate cancer from the prostate to secondary sites such as the skeleton. For patients with advanced prostate cancer, bone metastasis is a common event. Despite medical advances, the metastases are currently incurable and severely impact the patient’s quality of life. Defining how metastatic prostate cancer cells communicate with the normal cells of the bone in order to progress will allow us to identify new therapeutic targets that will ultimately cure the disease.
