plus recognises scientific reviewers for their selfless contribution. Traditionally reviewers' efforts have not been openly acknowledged as reviews happen behind closed doors. We aim to encourage reviewers by acknowledging their effort openly. We publish "named reviews" in keeping with our approach to complete transparency in biomedical scientific communications. However, anonymous peer review may be allowed at the request of reviewers at the sole discretion of specialty editors.

Peer Review process will be led by Specialty Editors. At their sole discretion, Specialty Editors will be able to choose from Editorial Board Members, Author Suggested Reviewers, WebmedCentral Reviewer Database, or any other reviewer they deem fit. Our reviewers are broadly asked to assess the scientific and technical suitability of the manuscript. All suitable scientific content presented in an adequate manner will be considered suitable for publication on plus.
